Baby Barrett #3 Predictions

If you're a long time Barrett blog reader, you may remember when we took predictions for Naomi's & Micah's due dates, etc. I'm holding the same contest again for Baby Barrett #3! There are about 2.5 weeks until our expected due date, February 10th. Here are the items to predict:

1) gender: girl or boy?
2) birth date/time: that's basic...what day will the baby be born and at what time? be sure to specify am or pm
3) weight & height: how much will this little one weigh and how long will s/he be?

So, place your bets and when it's all said & done we'll announce the winner. (Let's see if Giselle or Peter wins again!!)

Here is the scoring system that will be used again:

1. Boy/Girl - 3 points for correct
2. Date - 3 points for correct, 2 points for 1 day off, 1 point for 2 days off
3. Weight - 3 points for correct, 2 points for within 3 oz, 1 point for within 6 oz
4. Time - 3 points for within 1/2 hr, 2 points for within 1 hr, 1 point for within 3 hr
5. Length - 3 points for correct, 2 points for within 1/2 in, 1 point for within 1 in

In case of a tie, whoever is correct for #1 will win, if tie persists proceed to #2 and so on until the tie is broken. If we reach #5 and for some freakish reason there is still a tie, we will award both precipitants as winners!

As you may have noticed, I have been taking a blogger break. Just haven't felt motivated to blog lately. My plan is to take a little break, and likely start up again later. We'll see if I miss doing it/you miss reading it....

Micah brushing his teeth

Micah loves to brush his teeth. I thought this video was cute because at only 13 months old, he's already running his toothbrush under the water like we do! He stands on this footstool and points to the cabinets for his toothbrush. He only has 4 little teeth to brush :)

Happy Birthday, Naomi!

Today my little girl turned three. What a quick three years! I am really enjoying this age. Naomi is lots of fun. She understands so much and communicates so well. There are lots of fun things that you can do with her now.

She was so excited this morning when I told her that she is now three. She had a huge smile on her face. She's not a baby anymore...sniff, sniff....

I FINALLY WON!!!!

Last night Peter & Hollie came over for some Settlers. It was nice to see Hollie and I think she should be around more. Why? First, because I like her. Second because I think she takes Pete's focus off of the game! I WON!!!!

Jamin didn't win likely because he was focused on his tower rather than the game.

The Ramsey's came over and made us supper last night. What more could you ask for?! :) We celebrated Micah's birthday again. He seemed to enjoy seeing the cake again despite it being half gone!
