Weekend, etc.

You can tell I don't have that much time since today is Wednesday and I'm just getting stuff up from the weekend. Most of my wake time is spent with children these days!!

Saturday night I had the treat of hanging with my two sisters (on my side): Janine & Mary. We went to Pete & Janine's apartment and hung out for a bit, then went to see the Eric Angus Whyte playing. He just released his second CD. It's really good. I would recommend you picking up a copy.
On Sunday we hung out with the Stow family. We had a yummy supper, then went for a walk. "I-Zwick" (Isaac), as Naomi calls him, is getting big so quickly! The three kiddies. I think the boys are looking at Jillian.Baby IsaacBaby Micah

Here are a couple pics of Micah. I've just started putting him in the Bumbo lately. He continues to be a super easy baby. Full of smiles & very content.

All about the kiddies

Life has been busy lately (isn't it always!?). I find with two children my days just slip by and the evenings are so short. Naomi goes to bed around 8 and Micah settles around 9 and Jamin & I usually like to be in bed by 11 (at the latest), so there aren't many hours without a child up!

We had a great long weekend in Cape Breton with fam. It was so nice to have everyone home: Peter & Janine, Eric & Mary, Mom & Dad and us of course!

All the "kids" went to a movie on Saturday night while Mom & Dad looked after Naomi & Micah. I so enjoy the times I get to go out with Jamin since they are so rare! We watched Narnia and I really liked it.

We also got to see Cheryl & Avery while we were home. Avery is getting so big! Naomi enjoyed seeing her.
Here are a few pics from the weekend:

Here are a few random pics as well. This first one is Naomi sleeping in her rocking chair. I put her in her room for a time out and this is what I came back to. I guess she was tired!
Micah with his bright-eyes
Naomi & Micah hanging out in the bathroom. Poor Micah always seems to have a pink blanket on. I guess that's what happens when you have an older sister :)

Back to the weekend...

So, back to our weekend. Mom & Dad were here, so Jamin & I went on a date! It was a nice treat. We went shopping (my clothes don't fit yet so I needed some new clothes), to Jon Allan's (restaurant), to Peter & Janine's apartment, and then we found out Stephen & Jillian had their baby!!! Great timing! We were just blocks away from the hospital, so we headed right over to meet their new little BOY! Isaac James Stow was born on Saturday and he weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21.75 inches! Good size, huh!? Jillian did a great job! No epidural either! Micah is really excited to have a new friend :)
Ready for our night on the town!

This was earlier in the day: we were all enjoying their comfy sectional as Naomi watched us.

Now, onto the hospital!
Issac James sleeping peacefully
The happy family!
Enjoying holding Isaac for the first time!

Meanwhile, back at home:
Dad giving Micah a bottle
Nana with her hands full (this was actually earlier in the day)
The "boys". Whoops...we missed Dad's head...

It was great having my parents up. Naomi just loves seeing them and it's a really nice break for me (& Jamin). We were so excited for the Stows having Isaac. He's a beautiful baby and is so blessed to be born into their family. Congrats you guys!
