Our beautiful butterfly

Tonight I took Naomi around to a few of the neighbors' houses. At first she was shy going to the door, but by the 3rd house, she was saying, "treats, more". It was pretty cute! We were out for about 40 minutes and got about 6 houses done! She walked the whole way and some of the driveways are pretty long. It was really fun taking her around and she had a great time! We let her eat some gummy candies when she got home and she really enjoyed it! I think Jamin & I will enjoy some of her other treats for her :)If you are a long time blog reader, you may remember my graph from last year showing our numbers of trick-or-treaters. Well, here's one from this year (I know...I'm a total geek). A grand total of 31.

Belly pic & updates

Here's a picture of me taken yesterday. (don't mind Naomi's clashing outfit...Jamin dressed her!) I'm 25 weeks this Sunday. The time is FLYING by! I'm feeling really good. I've put on 21 pounds so far which is very similar to my weight gain at this time, last time. It's interesting to compare these two pregnancies. The baby's heart rate at our last appointment was 180 which is pretty high. By the old wives tale, that means another girl! Only time will tell :)

Do you eat the ends?

Do you eat the crusts of your bread? I don't. I don't really know why; I just don't. I thought of this yesterday while I used the end for bread crumbs for a recipe I was making. My mom loves the ends....do you?

Visit with the Johnstons

On the weekend, Mark, Roxanne, & Gavin came for a visit. It was so nice to see them! Naomi enjoyed having Gavin around to play with. We were able to go out on Saturday night and the kids stayed home with Jamin's parents & Jonny who were also here. (Jonny received the Duke of Edinburgh Award that weekend..congrats!!)

So many things to update!

I may have to do a couple of blog posts tonight. I'm a little behind :) First, Thanksgiving weekend. I know...it was a while ago! We went to the Miramichi for Jamin's cousin's (Bayley's) wedding. It was a beautiful weekend and a beautiful wedding. Nice to see family & friends. We also ate lots of delicious food!!

On our way back to Halifax we stopped by our friend, Jonathan's place for a visit.

Christmas pictures

Apples

Yesterday Mom & Dad took Naomi with them to the Valley for the morning. She had lots of fun picking & eating apples! Now when she looks at the big bag of apples we have she says "Nana, Grampie!"
