Visit from Jeff & Amanda!

We were so happy to see Jeff & Amanda this past week on their way from Ontario to Cape Breton!! We hadn't seen them since Christmas and they hadn't met Naomi yet. It was great to catch up with them. Since Jeff has such an awesome camera and is a great photographer, we had him take some pics of us...thanks, Jeff! Stop by anytime you guys!

Visit to PEI

Jamin & I just got back from our trip to PEI. We had a fabulous time visiting with friends & family. Naomi was a very good girl and she loved seeing her family! She was especially happy to meet her Auntie Shira for the first time! I must say, she really did love Shira! Honestly, Naomi smiled for her like crazy!!! I'm a NERD

I (Jamin) guess I knew that I was nerdy, but doesn't this sound a little bit extreme?

This is not good...

....we can't find our camera. What is our blog without pictures!?? The last time we had it was Tuesday night outside. It's Friday afternoon. We've looked high & low. We've looked inside & out. Where could it be?!?!? It's driving me crazy..I need closure. WHERE IS IT!??!

In other exciting news, Naomi rolled over today for the first time from her back to her belly! She's been getting up on her side lately, so we knew it was coming! I don't have the video because I can't find the camera!! Urg!

The Newly Weds..Nick & Jessica!

Jamin, Naomi & I attended the wedding of Nick & Jessica on Saturday night. It was a beautiful wedding! It was also HOT!!!!! It was nice to see some of our friends there...here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure :)

Congrats to my brother, Peter & his fiance, Janine on their engagement!!!!!!!! Peter & Janine got engaged on Friday in beautiful Marshy Hope! No specific date set yet, but they plan to keep their engagement less than a year. This means all of us MacDonald children will be married off (...and Mom thought it wasn't possible! :) ) I must say, I like how my family is shaping up!

I'm so happy for you guys!!!

Big day for the big girl!

Today Naomi had her 4 month needles...ouch! This time she didn't really even cry. The Dr. said because her thighs are nice & plump she didn't feel it as much!! :)

Here are her latest measurements:
weight: 15 lbs 12 oz which is in the 95th percentile
length: 63.5 cm or 25 inches which is between the 75-95 percentile

At the Dr.'s recommendation, today we also started Naomi on rice cereal.She didn't quite know what to think of it....

Ah, the weekend....

Wasn't Saturday beautiful!!!?

Our weekend started early since Jamin had Friday afternoon off! We ran a few errands, went to the driving range and enjoyed a quiet night in. On Saturday Jamin had his work golf tournament. To his surprise his team tied for first place (they were playing best ball style) and he won the longest drive! Wahoo!! Meanwhile, Naomi & I had a nice day at home & out in the sunshine! Saturday night we headed downtown with Steve & Jill & Andrew. It was such a nice night to walk the boardwalk.Today we went church and now Jamin is gone to Ultimate Frisbee. Hopefully the fields aren't too wet! Naomi is asleep. Lately she's really started to fight taking naps which is driving me CRAZY at times! My great little sleeper has also started waking up in the nights again! This too shall pass (at least that's what I tell myself!)

Oh, I forgot to mention that we got Naomi a Bumbo seat...check it out!Have a great week!

30,000 hits!!!

Since Decemeber 1, 2005 this blog has gotten over 30,000 hits! (see counter at bottom of page) Wow...I should start advertising on here! :) How many of those were my mom I wonder....at least half :) heheheh. I think Naomi helped increase our hit count!

So, that's an average of:

-over 140 hits a day

Wow! I should update more often I guess!

Canadian Idol Ladies...

Did you catch the show last night? I also thought that the ladies did better than the guys this week (like Jake said). Although I'm more into Rob & Keith, for the girls I'm currently rooting for:

I'm not sure in what order, but from this week's performances those are my fav's. We'll see what happens tonight on the results show!

I love long weekends...I also like Canadian Idol!

Even though I'm on maternity leave now I still love long weekends! Jamin is around for an extra day and there is just some extra excitement in the air!

We had a great long weekend! Visited some friends, went to Peggy's Cove, did some work on our yard, and enjoyed the weather!!! We also enjoyed having Susie stay with us. Suzie is Tom & Amanda's new kitten. We looked after her while they were away..what a cutie!! She & Naomi became great friends!

Oh, also Andrew just got a new bike! Check it out!Okay, now onto Canadian Idol. I'm into it. I watched the boys perform last night and I am rooting for Keith & Rob. I only placed 3 votes because I was going to bed....2 for Rob & 1 for Keith. I think Rob needed them more since he was in the bottom 4 last week. Anyway, who are you going for????
