Happy 6 months, Micah!

Today Micah is six months old! In some ways, it has gone by so quickly and in other ways, it's hard to remember a time without him.

He had his dr's appointment tonight. Here are his stats:

Ht: 70 cm (27.6 inches), 86 percentile
Wt: 18.6 lbs, 65 %
Head: 44 cm (17.3 inches), 58 %

Here are some highlights from Micah's life:

-He rolls from his back to belly like crazy. He sleeps on his belly.
-Micah isn't that interested in his soother anymore. He still takes it sometimes, but he prefers his thumb.
-He naps 2-3 times a day and has been sleeping through the night for about a month now. It's wonderful!
-He is sitting up with support. He tends to lean forward and go on his belly.
-He can spin all the way around on his belly. He often will move from one part of the room to another by rolling and spinning!
-He's a very easy going baby. He'll sleep anywhere and generally just fusses for a minute then falls asleep. In the morning when he wakes up, he's content to "play" in his crib for a while before getting up.
-We just got back from CB. He is an excellent traveler. Rarely minds being in his car seat and enjoys watching Naomi.
-He's been eating cereal for a couple of weeks now and really likes it. We will start meat this week. Hopefully he'll like it. I think I'll start with chicken.
-No teeth yet and not much drooling yet.

We love Micah sooo much and are so thankful for him. It's been a great 6 months!
