Jamin went to New York on Tuesday and I headed to Cape Breton to visit my family on Wednesday. We were going to go down together on Friday when Jamin got back, but I decided to go early and surprise my parents! They were very surprised and very excited!! We had a relaxing week...we went to the cottage, hung out at home, etc. We also had a birthday party for Eric (my sister's husband)! He turned 23 on the 24th...happy birthday, Eric!! Friday night Jamin got a ride down with Joey Cook. It was soooo good to see Jamin!

On Saturday we headed to Margaree for Cassandra & Alex's wedding! On our way, we stopped by the Whyte's place for a minute to say hi, then over to Shushan Spiritual Retreat to say hi to Rick, Danielle & baby Elliot. What a beautiful spot!! (Hey Danielle, if you have a sec, please send me a pic that you took!)
Back to the wedding; it was so beautiful!! You could tell they are so in love. It was nice to be able to see people I haven't seen in a while. I had an especially good time catching up with Kim & little Sydney..what a cutie! That night we stayed with Kelly & Jonathan and we headed home this morning.

Sounds like a great weekend! It is so nice to see all of the new babies and new happy couples! Everyone is growing up before our very own eyes! I didn't know your sister got married. I knew they were engaged, but didn't know when the wedding happened..lol. Well, congrats to all the new brides and mothers alike!
Aww...what sweet wedding pictures! Makes me want to get married all over again...if someone else would plan it! Cassandra looks gorgeous, and so do allll the ladies in the pictures!
